This years theme as announced by the NFPA and Sparky is "Fire won't wait. Plan your escape." Having a fire escape plan in place for your family that is specific to your home is important to ensure that everyone is familiar with multiple means of regress from all rooms in your home. When creating your families escape plan, it is important to also come up with a meeting point outside that everyone will go to once you have left the building.
