Today's information will be focused on smoke alarms and the importance of these in your home.
Today's statistics:
Approximately three of every five deaths that resulted from house fires were in homes with either no smoke alarms (approximately 40%), or in homes where the smoke alarms were not properly working (approximately 17%).
Of the 17% that the smoke alarms were not working, approximately 43% of the smoke alarms were either missing batteries or had been disconnected. 25% of the 17% contained batteries that were dead.

It is recommended that you change the batteries in all smoke detectors at the same time that you change your clocks. Take a look at the picture below for more tips.
